Mr. Yen has been with Five Mile since inception in 2003. Prior to Five Mile, he served as an Associate in real estate structured finance for ING Capital LLC, where he assisted in underwriting, structuring and closing commercial real estate debt transactions. During his tenure at ING Capital, he worked with Mr. Lattimer for one year. Prior to this experience, Mr. Yen worked as an Associate in Acquisitions at ING Realty Partners LP, where he analyzed potential real estate equity investments, contributed to the underwriting, structuring andclosing of substantial property asset acquisitions, and developed extensive financial and valuation models to assess potential returns and investment risks. Mr. Yen worked as a Senior Consultant in Real Estate Capital Markets for Deloitte & Touche LLP for two years, and also as a Manager in Global Real Estate for Citicorp North America for two years. Mr. Yen holds an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a BA in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley.
