Mr. Piscina joined Five Mile in 2007. Prior to Five Mile, Mr. Piscina served as Senior Managing Director at Natixis Capital for approximately six years, where he was Head of Asset Trading and Finance. For the five preceding years at PaineWebber, he served as Managing Director, Head of Asset Trading and Finance, responsible for the non-agency mortgage and ABS groups. In addition, he was a member of the Operating Committee, as well as President of PaineWebber Real Estate (CMBS platform). Prior to PaineWebber, Mr. Piscina was Managing Director, Head of Asset Trading and Finance and CMBS Secondary Trading for four years at Kidder Peabody. In 1990, he joined UBS Securities as a trader for the non-agency mortgage book. Mr. Piscina began his career in 1985 in contract finance at Drexel Burnham Lambert where, over the course of five years, he rose from the liaison between the mortgage finance group and outside counsel to a trading position, handling floating and fixed rate mortgages, to Senior Vice President. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar, and holds a J.D. from Villanova School of Law and a BA in Psychology and History from Columbia University.
